Mad Hippie’s Spring Cleanup - “Be part of the solution, not the pollution.”
Last weekend our band of hippies got together to pitch in and clean up our local waterfront along the Willamette River in Oregon. Teaming up with SOLVE & Detrash Portland, we collected large debris, plastics, styrofoam, fishing nets and other waste items before they could further impact the local ecosystem or get swept up by the river and end up in our oceans.
Here at Mad Hippie, our manifesto states the belief that we are stewards of this planet and must treat our home and fellow beings with love and respect, and an unwavering belief in a brighter, better tomorrow. That’s why we continue to seek opportunities to preserve all the places we live. It is our intention to provoke effective change by partnering with organizations like LOOP & TerraCycle to reduce our carbon footprint. We support The Ocean Cleanup, Oceana and the Natural Resource Defense Council in the hopes of creating solutions to some of our earth's most pressing environmental challenges. We are revolutionizing our industry by challenging the status quo, and we are encouraged along the way by your meaningful comments, messages and emails.
We strive to always make the safest, most effective products possible while also working to limit our carbon footprint and impact on the planet. We are so happy you can join us!
