Cocoa Seed – Rich in hydrating fatty acids, cocoa seed butter helps the skin retain moisture.

Quercetin – A naturally occurring bioflavonoid from plants that is rich in antioxidants.

Sea Buckthorn – This berry native to the Tibetan Himalayas, is rich in vitamins A, B, C, D, E, K, P, carotenoids, flavonoids, phenols, folic acid & fatty acids. In fact, the buckthorn berry is thought to be the only plant in the world to contain omega 3, 6, 7 & 9 all together!

Hyaluronic Acid – A naturally occurring substance in the body, hyaluronic acid begins to deplete as we age. Applied topically, it can help increase the plumped-up look of the skin.

Vegan Squalene – Highly effective emollient and antioxidant.

Milk Thistle – Rich in silymarin and fatty acids, including linoleic acid.

Usage: Daily | Morning

Directions: Please shake well. Apply liberally and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply:

–After 80 minutes of sweating or swimming
–Immediately after towel drying
–At least every two hours

What is non-nano zinc oxide?
Zinc oxide is a mineral and the active ingredient in many mineral sunscreens. It sits on top of your skin (rather than soaking in, like chemical sunscreens do) and scatters, absorbs, and reflects the sun’s rays to protect you. Non-nano essentially means that the particles are too large to pass through the skin. The concern with super-small nanoparticles is that they can find their way into your body by penetrating your skin and getting into your bloodstream. And while a nanoparticle will enter your bloodstream, a non-nano particle won’t.

Ultrasheer SPF has my vote!

I am pairing this Ultra-sheer Body SPF with the SPF Facial Serum by using this product for a wider range of areas like the forearms, back of hands, neck, ears, shins and the like, as a daily moisturizing sunscreen. I apply it every day, before I get dressed. There has been no staining of my clothing which is a huge plus, and no heavy greasy feeling when I work up a sweat hiking or working outside. I just ordered a second tube to be sure I don’t run out. Reef safe, and body safe are very important to me, and I think I’ve purchased every sunscreen on the market trying to find one that doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, and does not stain my clothing. I’m pretty sure this is my ultimate. The very slight white cast disappears in about 20 minutes leaving your skin soft and smooth. Thanks MH for your stellar products! Fan for life!

Absolute WINNER

I never write reviews, but I have tried a lot of big mineral sunscreens on the market: La Roche Posay, the entire Supergoop line, EltaMD, Paula's, Cetaphil, Alba etc-this one takes the cake! It's runny but not watery, moisturizing but not too tacky or shiny, and sheer enough that four to five daily applications builds up to a barely noticeable cast on my skin. And best of all, no irritation, which is not what I can say for past experiences. I will buy again and again!

AMAZING sunscreen!!!!!

Hi, I never write reviews. I needed to write this one. I have so many MAD Hippie products. I love them ALL. I have been looking for a sunscreen like this for years. Love how it glides on, protects, and moisturizers my skin. Even when I am inside my house and not going out, I put it on because it makes my skin so soft. All great ingredients. Nothing harmful and the company is cruelty-free. Thank you for making such great products.!!!!!

I usually never write reviews but absolutely had to rave about this sunscreen! I exclusively use mineral sunscreens and even then, most brands cause me to break out in hives…haven’t been able to figure out what ingredient causes it but I love how clean this sunscreen is. On top of that, it rubs in great and doesn’t leave any white cast at all, which is so rare for a mineral sunscreen. Beyond the sunscreen, I just love this brand and all the mini samples they sent with my order! Definitely hooked and so grateful to have found this sunscreen!

love this sunscreen

Rubs in well and leaves no white cast. I also use it on my face and it dries matte - I appreciate that it does not leave a greasy-like feel. I carry sunscreen in my bag and have found the cap opens too easily; I have had a few spills in my bags so want to bring that up for the team to look into a tighter cap.
