• Is this suitable for acne-prone or oily skin? +

  Yes! Our Cream Cleanser is formulated to support the skin's natural balance of protective oils, making it a great option for most people with oily or acne-prone skin. While many overly alkaline cleansers strip the skin of the acid mantle, this mildly acidic cleanser effectively and gently washes away dirt & impurities without stripping the skin.

• Is this an effective makeup remover? +

  Yes, for light makeup. For heavier or waterproof makeup, we recommend starting with our Cleansing Oil before following with the Cream Cleanser. Try our Jelly Cleanser instead for great everyday makeup removal!

• Does this foam? +

  Our Cream Cleanser features a non-foaming, creamy texture designed to cleanse the skin gently without disrupting its natural moisture barrier. • Is this water-based or oil-based? +

  Our Cream Cleanser is water-based and mildly acidic to protect your skin's natural balance of oils. Enriched with a blend of nourishing oils, including jojoba, sesame and macadamia nut, this cleanser effectively lifts dirt and impurities while simultaneously hydrating your skin.

• Does this have a fragrance? +

  You will never find synthetic fragrances in any Mad Hippie products. That said, the natural extracts and oils in our Cream Cleanser may impart a subtle scent that dissipates quickly, but is not overpowering.
