This sunscreen has a great texture and does not leave a white cast. It feels nice and light, and not heavy at all.

Non-Greasy - Hydrating Facial SPF

Finally found a straightforward mineral sunscreen (purchased at Whole Foods) that doesn't irritate or leave my extremely sensitive, 60 yo skin feeling greasy! I currently layer this product over a THD Ascobate but will try your Vitamin C Serum when that runs out. Thank you, Mad Hippie!

Healthy SPF protection

I love all the things in it. Feels good on my skin. I really wish the vitamin C was top 5 on the ingredients list. We skincare nerds have learned that Vitamin C makes your SPF work better via synergistic effects. It’s in there at low dose. Why not make a high vitamin C SPF, Mad Hippie!!! Yeeeehawwww!! (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate is the best ).

White cast

I liked the smell of this SPF, but have had a hard time with application. It always leaves a white cast, especially around my eyebrows and hairline. At first I liked that it had a matte texture, but have since found it to be drying. The product has also separated in the bottle and an oily substance comes out before the cream.

Sorry it's not working for you. All of our sunscreens are zinc based, and although they go on super clear for zinc, they need to be rubbed in well to get rid of any whitecast, which can be a little more difficult around the hairline. Zinc itself fairly dense and will tend to separate a bit in products that have sat for a bit, so we recommend giving it a good shake before application.
We are also always happy to offer a refund for any product that doesn't work well as we recognize everyone's skin is different :)

Holy grail of facial sunscreens!

This mineral sunscreen is the one and only I have ever used that doesn’t pill when applied over other products, and it glides on smoothly without a white cast! Also doesn’t dry out my skin like I’ve found other mineral sunscreens have. Please please do not ever discontinue this product!
