A little Goes A Long Way

really helped with my acne and dull skin

I'm in my thirties with very dry skin, have had acne since my early teens. I tried the AHA glycolic acid serum first, which made my skin pretty soft but didn't resolve my acne. I saw an immediate difference when I switched to the Super A serum. I started with every other night and now apply every night along with a salicylic acid gel. My acne has decreased significantly and my skin tone is more even and bright. Over the years I've tried Proactiv, Curology, and various natural remedies for acne but this is the one that's working for me now as my skin ages.

Hello! In April 2024 I suffered from a bacterial acne breakout like I had never seen before (big infected pustules.) My derm put me on antibiotics which stopped the bacteria but I was left with bright red marks/PIE some of which I knew would become scars. They were slow to go away.

In July 2024, I went to get a laser facial to see if it would help. While there I learned that I couldn't afford the bi weekly laser sessions I would need so the kind esthetician recommended I use a retinol. I said I wasn't interested in tret (my skin is sensitive and I like natural products) and she said there were other OTC retinols out there that would do what I needed.

I did a little research and then went to Whole Foods to find this product. I promised myself I would use it for the whole bottle before coming to conclusions and, fast forward from July to Nov, I finished the whole bottle and my skin looks soooo much better. Some of the marks still remain but have faded substantiallly.

More than that my overall complexion looks brighter and more glowy. My husband comments all the time how great my skin looks now. And my mom said it took last time I saw her.

The serum is also really nice to use because it feels like you are giving your skin real nutrients. Plus the 35 dollar bottle lasted me over 3 months.

I love simplicity in my skin care: in the evenings I cleanse my face with a gentle cleanser, apply this serum and let it dry and then add a gentle high quality moisturizer. In the mornings I skip washing and put on a sunscreen. Now that my sensitive skin is adjusted I decided to add in the mad Hippie vit. C in the morning to see how that goes.

This is a long review and I wish I could add photos because given time this serum really did help! Would recommend to anyone in their late twenties/early thirties with acne prone skin that is also aging and slower to heal than it used to be.
