Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily

Start with 1x daily, then gradually increase to 2-3x per day. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to 1x per day or every other day

Salicylic acid is a BHA (beta hydroxy acid) and it functions as an exfoliant (like the AHAs that we use in the AHA Exfoliating Peel). AHAs are water soluble and are a wonderful option for dry, sun-damaged skin. BHA's are oil soluble, allowing them to penetrate deeper to unclog pores and reduce breakouts. If you want to use both AHAs as well as BHAs in your skincare routine, we recommend alternating them nightly. You can use the Blemish Cream (with 2% BHA) nightly or alternate it with another exfoliant if desired.

The best spot treatment

This stuff works! As soon as I see a spot forming I dab a small amount on twice a day . The result in 24hrs is either a flattened less red spot or it brings it to a head faster and is less red . Also , I put it on after popping a pimple and the spot heals so much faster and is less red. Best spot treatment I have ever tried .

I have been a fan of mad hippie products for a long time, but I had not tried this cream until the other day. I received a free sample with an order of my other staples. I had a few stubborn hormonal acne spots on my temple that were not going away so I gave this a shot and WOW! They have healed so fast. I have tried every other kind of topical treatment to deal with hormonal acne, including prescription retinol cream which did nothing to help. This cream is so effective - I am blown away. I was surprised by its texture. I have used other natural acid products that are more of a gel consistency while this is definitely a cream. It doesn't just dry out blemishes, it actually works to heal them. I would highly recommend this to anyone dealing with hormonal acne.
