How to Authenticate

In an effort to protect our customers, many Mad Hippie products include Transparency codes on the bottoms of boxes.  Each box has its own specific, non-sequential code. 

By downloading the Transparency app, you can authenticate your specific product.  Simply open the app and point your camera at the Transparency code on the bottom of your box.  The app will confirm you have a legitimate product by utilizing a series of authenticating factors including geo-targeting!

 

Products with codes include:

Vitamin C Serum, Vitamin A Serum, Exfoliating Serum, Antioxidant Facial Oil, Face Cream, Eye Cream, Cream Cleanser, Hydrating Nutrient Mist, Facial SPF

 

Products without codes:

Cosmetics (all products) Cleansing Oil, 2 Min Polishing Mask and Triple C Night Cream 

 

  

Questions:

 

Why don't all products have codes?  

At present, we have selected only the products widely available worldwide, and those we have found counterfeits of.

  

Are counterfeits a real issue?

Unfortunately, we continue to find counterfeits of our products listed from unauthorized sellers online on open platforms such as Walmart, Ebay, Jet and Amazon.  We are working along these site's teams to battle this issue, but given the openness of the marketplaces it is an ongoing process.  To battle this we have implemented this coding system for our customers to help them validate their products. 

To protect yourself, never buy personal care products online off unauthorized sellers.
