Vitamin C – (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate) – One of the most vital ingredients in any effective skin care regimen, vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles & discoloration. Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, a more stable form of vitamin C than the commonly used L-Ascorbic Acid found in most skin care products, provides the same benefits, without the risk of oxidation and irritation that is often associated with L-Ascorbic Acid.

Vitamin E – Protective antioxidant that has been shown to reduce the appearance of wrinkles & discoloration.

Ferulic Acid – A natural antioxidant found in the cell walls of plants. When combined with vitamins C & E, Ferulic Acid has been shown in studies to have a compounding antioxidant effect.

Hyaluronic Acid – A naturally occurring substance in the body, hyaluronic acid begins to deplete as we age. Applied topically it can help increase the plumped up look of the skin.

Konjac Root – Exotic flower from Asia, helps to soften & smooth the skin while forming a thin protective barrier. Rich in nutrients such as copper, zinc, phosphorus, fatty acids, protein, carbohydrates, lipids, potassium, magnesium, iron, niacin, folic acid & vitamins A, E, C, D & B!

Chamomile Extract – Provides a thin protective shield, while naturally soothing and calming the skin.

Clary Sage – Helps eliminate overly-dry or overly-oily skin. Acts as natural toner & astringent.

Usage: Daily | Morning

Directions: Massage 2-4 drops into skin after cleansing. Follow with moisturizer and SPF. Can be layered over Hydrating Nutrient Mist if using.

Can you email me a shipping label?
Yes! If you have a printer and would prefer it, we can email you the shipping label, which can be affixed to any small padded envelope or small box. Please reach out to us at info@madhippie.com to request a shipping label.

Can I include things besides just the glass bottle?
You can include the caps & the safety seals from the Refillable Vitamin C Serum bottle too! We refill the bottles and recycle the other components to keep them out of landfills.

Can I send in the regular style Vitamin C Serum bottles/other Mad Hippie packaging for refilling/recycling?
The original Vitamin C Serum bottles/other Mad Hippie packaging can be recycled through your local municipality. The bottles we are using for this program are a bit different. They have a label silkscreened directly onto the glass which allows us to reuse them over and over! We are not accepting other bottles or packaging at this time. Please only send back the Refillable Vitamin C Serum bottle as pictured on this page. :)

Is this just for US customers?
Yes. The refillable program is currently only available within the USA.

Are other products part of this refillable program as well?
At this time, our refillable program is only for the Vitamin C Serum in the special bottle pictured on this page.

How is this different from your TerraCycle program?
Great question! At this time, TerraCycle accepts the plastic packaging components from our line. Once they receive a customer’s envelope, they properly recycle/upcycle everything. Whereas, our new refillable program is specifically for a refillable glass bottle (Vitamin C Serum only for now). These bottles are sent back to us, and we clean, sanitize, and refill the same bottles to be used again and again!

Once you receive an empty bottle, do you refill it and send it back to the customer?
No. Our refillable program is not the same as a subscription program. Once we receive an empty bottle, we clean it, sanitize it, and refill it to be sold again on our website - thus creating a loop system! If you would like another Refillable Vitamin C Serum, simply reorder through our website. :)
