With a commitment to sustainable packaging and thoughtfully sourced ingredients, we like to make sure EVERY DAY is Earth Day. But with the 50th anniversary of the modern environmental movement on April 22 we are reminded that every little effort counts, here are some of our favorites...

  • Join a local park, river or beach clean-up.

  • Use environmentally-friendly, non-toxic cleaning products.

  • Carpool, ride your bike, use public transportation or drive an electric or hybrid car. Reduce your carbon footprint by one pound for every mile you do not drive.

  • Stop using disposable plastics, especially single-use plastics like bottles, bags and straws.

  • Recycle paper, plastic and glass. Reduce your garbage by 10% and your carbon footprint by 1,200 pounds a year. (Just a reminder that Mad Hippie has teamed up with TerraCycle to make sure all of the plastic and bioresin bits and pieces of our product packaging can be recycled. Learn more here!)

  • Buy organic food to keep your body and the environment free of toxic pesticides. Support farmers and companies who use organic ingredients.

  • Take shorter showers, do full loads of laundry, use cold water when possible, turn off the water when brushing your teeth.

Be green. Be well.
